Certificate Course In Polished Diamond Grading
Â
In this article, we want to give information about the “Certificate Course In Polished Diamond Grading.” Students learn rejection and selection methods of diamonds and the identification of diamonds.
Welcome to the Arihannt Diamond Institute. We are here for the “Certificate Course In Polished Diamond Grading” Course about polished diamonds to become proficient in polished grading.Â
In this course, students can learn about the rejection and selection methods of diamonds and the identification of diamonds.Let’s discuss the physical properties of chemical classification.
 1. Streak: is the color of the mineral in powdered form. Streak shows the true color of the mineral. In large solid forms, trace minerals can change the color and appearance of a mineral by reflecting light in a certain way. Trace minerals have little influence on the reflection of the small powdery particles of the streak.
The streak of metallic minerals tends to appear dark because the small particles of the streak absorb the light hitting them. Non-metallic particles tend to reflect most of the light, so they appear lighter in color or almost white.
 2. Luster: is the general appearance of a mineral surface in reflected light. It is the degree of reflected light and is directly related to optical properties (mainly RI) and surface conditions.
3. Metallic luster strictly belongs to opaque minerals, where light is completely reflected from the surface. Most of the ore minerals having a high content of metals show a metallic luster. Eg., Gal, Mat, Pyt, Cpy. imperfect metallic luster, sub-metallic.
 4. Non-metallic luster: other luster types are collectively known as non-metallic luster. It may be brilliant or faint where reflection is poor which is due to the scattering of light from the mineral surface.
Also, The course content will be 4C’s Knowledge, Internal & Externals Defects, Knowledge of sieve size, Identification of Real and simulation including moissanite, Repairing Knowledge, L.B/L.C Color Grading, International Color & Clarity.
The Course Duration will be 72 days. Also, Institute provided all equipment for use during this course. Students want to be Certified after the course completion.
